Hello everyone and welcome to the September edition of the Transition Medical Weight Loss Monthly Newsletter! We look forward to keeping you updated on our upcoming seminars as well as inform you about some of our exciting new developments. 

Biweekly Seminar Schedule

Here are the upcoming topics for our seminars. These seminars are an exclusive benefit for all patients enrolled in our program, both active phase and maintenance phase members. You are also allowed to bring a friend or family member that is interested in attending. Seminars will be held at the Transition office. Here are our topics for September and October:

1. Tuesday, September 17, at 7:00 PM – Nutrition Series with Cheryl

  • Cheryl Francis, RD, LD will lead a seminar regarding nutrition and weight maintenance through healthy eating. Will discuss various topics on nutrition including tips on navigating the grocery store and making smart choices when eating out or at social events.

2. Tuesday, October 1, at 7:00 PM – The Benefits of Weight Loss on the Human Body

  • Joseph Zucchi, PA-C, CPT will highlight the medical aspects of obesity and its impact on the human body. He will explain how weight loss changes the body and reduces the risks of diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, heart disease, cancer, and more.

3. Tuesday, October 15, at 7:00 PM – Hypnosis & Weight Management

  • Transition Weight Loss is very excited to have nationally renowned stage and clinical hypnotherapist Tommy Vee as part of our team to help guide you and keep you on track through the weight loss process. This is an exceptional and exclusive offering that we encourage all of our patients to take advantage of.
  • Prior to attending the hypnosis presentation, Tom requests that you watch his introductory video.

4. Tuesday, October 29, at 7:00 PM – Empowerment Session with Rhonda

  • Rhonda Hodge, DNP, APRN will lead a seminar regarding mindset during weight loss and strategies to overcome sabotaging behaviors.
